Easter Lilies


Easter Lilies In the Christian tradition, Easter represents the resurrection of Jesus, a day filled with hope and renewal.  It is quite appropriate that this day is often accompanied by the arrival of Spring, a season which also symbolizes resurrection.  For Flower Farmers and gardeners, this particular time signals the rebirth of bulb flowers.  After a long winter slumber, bulb flowers are reawakened, marking their own celebration of renewal. At Stargazer Barn, we grow our bulb flowers year-round, but their sentimental association is solidly spring, and solidly Easter. Both flowers and Easter represent sunshine after darkness and life after death.  How appropriate to celebrate the world coming alive again after a long winter with Easter Flowers.
